Signature Home Theater started business as Innovation Electronics in April of 2003. We were a single location business located at 249 and FM1960 in the Northwest part of Houston and continued as such for 8 years. Every employee had previous experience in the industry and vendors were eager to land their products in our initial showroom for two reasons. The first was the talent of the staff including industry leaders comprising the design team and the experience and professionalism of our installation team. The second reason was the lack of representation in the Houston market for retail showrooms offering the very best in high-end audio, video and home automation technologies.

          We carefully selected the products that we felt offered the highest level of performance and reliability while retaining value and ease of use for our clients.Through the years we have maintained some product lines because they have proven themselves consistently reliable and have kept up with the continuous advance of technology. Other product lines have been dropped from our line up because of failures along any of the aforementioned principles. We continuously attend trade and technology conventions to maintain a level of knowledge and education that cannot be found in larger retailers. Rest assured that we will only recommend technologies as they become reliable and easy to integrate.

           In 2008 Innovation Electronics changed its name to Signature Home Theater to give our potential clients a better idea of what we did. Our specialty is designing high end private theaters and the name Signature Home Theater implies our core set of principles. The job is not complete until we can put our signature on it and hold it up to the most critical evaluations. In the midst of an economic recession we are one of the last companies in Houston that have remained in business in this industry).
